LEADS On-Line offers custom weather display products tailored to fit specific analysis and forecasting needs. Pages and menu items support UTF-* character sets that allow not only construction of custom pages and custom menu items, but also enables individually supported language customization.
Completely Configurable
- User profiles: Typical profiles (roles) may include: administrators, meteorologists, pilots, flight dispatchers, managers, etc. Top level menus can be shared by profiles, allowing meteorologists to configure a set of pages and menus for a "role" so when that user logs in, they see the page automatically.
- Security: User security permissions are fully supported.
- Custom menus: Top level menus can be added and used on an individual or shared basis. Menu titles, along with sub-menu items, can be created for any situation.
- Custom pages: Users can create their own personalized custom pages. Pages are made up of thumbnails and modules to display weather products as users want to see them. Modules can be dragged and positioned anywhere on the screen. Once set up, these pages can be instantly re-displayed whenever the user logs in.

Product Manipulation
IPSM had completely integrated LEADS On-Line with the LEADS Forecaster Workstation software. Each image displayed is contained within the relational database and not only contains the image (.jpg or .png) but the LEADS .disp file. This .disp file is in raw LEADS format and maintains its layers, colormaps, and underlying data, meanwhile remaining compact for its intended distribution over limited bandwidth. All .disp products posted online enable comprehensive product manipulation by downloading files, editing, analyzing, and then re-posting newly created products for availability to others.
