Brasília, Brazil - 8 Mar 2011MeteoStar, in cooperation with our partners SIMTECH of Brazil, have just closed a contract to deliver multiple GOES-Magellan satellite direct receive systems to Sistema de Proteção da Amazônia (SIPAM). SIPAM is responsible for the governance of the Amazon, aimed at protecting & sustaining the region and its resources. The multiple Magellan systems will further enhance SIPAM's already large network of weather sensors. Installation is set for later this spring.

Englewood, CO - 25 Feb 2011MeteoStar, in cooperation with our partners IGS in Mexico and SIMTECH in Brazil, have just completed three LEADS® system installations and Site Acceptance Tests in a row! Brand new LEADS® systems were delivered to the Operador Nacional do Sistema Elétrico (ONS) in Brazil, the Comisión Estatal de Agua, Querétaro (CEA) in Mexico, and Epson Meteo in Italy. These new customers have already started to integrate their new, professional LEADS® weather toolkits into their operations. Seattle, WA - 28 Jan 2011MeteoStar made yet another successful showing at the annual AMS show in January, this time held in Seattle, WA. Visitors, business partners, and clients stopped by the booth throughout the week to check out demos of the latest LEADS® and LEADS® On-Line capabilities, and also saw our new interactive map capabilities. MeteoStar networked with existing and potential customers, and forged new business relationships, keeping us poised as the industry leader for weather data integration and visualization. MeteoStar Sales Director Rich Stedronsky also gave a presentation on the new MeteoStar EUMETSAT + LEADS® solution for the Iraqi Air Force (http://ams.confex.com/ams/91Annual/webprogram/Paper187388.html). Lima, Peru - 6 Jan 2011MeteoStar, in association with our partners ADR and T-Shidromm, has just won a contract to deliver a Magellan GOES Satellite Direct Receive system to the Corporación Peruana de Aeropuertos y Aviación Comercial (CORPAC) in Peru! CORPAC, which operates numerous airports and controls airspace over Peru, will use their new MeteoStar system to provide commercial and civil aviation weather decision support across the nation. Delivery is set for spring of 2011.
